Things I learned
- Make sure your shoes have some wiggle room if you are getting married in the summer. My shoes were pretty narrow and when my feet swelled from the heat, they didn't fit anymore. So my MOH went in search of a pair of flip flops so I could walk around.
- It's said a lot, but enjoy every moment!! It goes SO fast. The whole day is a whirlwind and it is so important to stop and take it all in. I can't believe it went so fast!
- Get as much done as you can before you go to Vegas!!!! We had so many errands to run when we first arrived, we were tired fast. Having more things done pre-arrival would have been less stressful for me.
- Have an itinerary for guests even if you think you won't need one. I made a quick one with "join us if you wish" since we did not have a RD or meet and greet, but guests were still asking what we were doing. So be prepared. I gave the duty of communicating with people to my H.
- Have someone take photos with your own personal camera. I wish I had done this so I didn't have to wait for pro photos.
- Be super organized. I thought I was really organized, but I was always fretting and worrying that I had lost something. If it's too much, have a bridesmaid help with the organization. You will be thankful when you're not stressed looking for something that was in your hand all along.
- Your photography will go faster than you think. We had Todd for 3 hours for a strip tour and it felt like 20 minutes. If you are super concerned about having a lot of photos, book a lot of time. You will eat up a lot of time driving around the strip.
- You will feel like a celebrity the day of your wedding. Soak it up!! We had applause, compliments, and crowds part for us. It was amazing! Enjoy every minute of it!
